Two hours on an ATV in the Mayan jungle just outside Playa del Carmen. Your guide sets the pace for your level, and if you're riding double you can swap drivers halfway. Short, fun and easy to fit into your trip.

• Closed-toe shoes (sneakers are perfect — no sandals)

Good to know

• No experience needed — every ride starts with a safety briefing and a short practice run.
• Your guide leads the group on their own vehicle — you drive your own ATV, or share it with a passenger.
• Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driver's license. Kids can join as passengers with an adult.
