Ride from Santa Teresa down the coast to Manzanillo, one of the wildest beaches on the Nicoya Peninsula. Expect dirt roads, river crossings, open sand and huge Pacific views, with time to swim and explore the tide pools. It's an easy ride that first-timers love and families can do together.

• 0:00 · Meet & safety briefing — Meet at our Santa Teresa base, get your helmet and a quick lesson on your ATV.
• 0:20 · Coastal back roads — Ride south through Mal País and the jungle-lined back roads toward Manzanillo.
• 1:15 · Manzanillo beach — Cruise the open beach, stop for photos and explore the rocky tide pools.
• 2:00 · Swim & chill — Cool off in the ocean, grab a drink and enjoy one of the quietest beaches in the area.
• 3:15 · Viewpoint & river crossings — Head inland over hills and through small rivers with ocean lookouts along the way.
• 4:30 · Back to Santa Teresa — Easy ride back to base.

Good to know

• No experience needed — every ride starts with a safety briefing and a short practice run.
• Your guide leads the group on their own vehicle — you drive your own ATV, or share it with a passenger.
• Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driver's license. Kids can join as passengers with an adult.
• Beach sections are timed with the tides, so the exact route can change on the day.
• Tours run rain or shine (the mud is half the fun). If weather makes trails unsafe, we reschedule or give a full refund.
