A full day on an ATV along the ridgeline of the Black Hills, some of the highest mountains on the Nicoya Peninsula. You'll ride rivers, dry forest, farmland and small villages, with views from Playa Carrillo to north of Nosara. A typical lunch at a ranch is included. Built for experienced riders.

• 2:45 · Summit views — Stop on the ridgeline with views from Playa Carrillo to north of Nosara.
• 3:15 · Lunch at the ranch — Typical Costa Rican lunch at a local ranch.
• 4:15 · Villages & ridgeline — Ride through small villages and along the ridge, watching for wildlife.

Good to know

• Meeting point: Pacífico Azul Restaurant, 100 m west of Hotel Guiones, Playa Guiones.
• Rated Challenging: for riders with previous ATV experience.
• Your guide leads the group on their own vehicle — you drive your own ATV, or share it with a passenger.
• Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driver's license. Kids can join as passengers with an adult.
• Tours run rain or shine (the mud is half the fun). If weather makes trails unsafe, we reschedule or give a full refund.
